  • How do I book a ride with Wavi NEMT?

    Booking a ride with Wavi NEMT is simple! You can schedule a ride by calling us at (713) 999-2229 or by using our online booking form. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability, but same-day bookings may be available depending on our schedule.

  • What areas do you serve?

    We proudly serve Houston, Beaumont, Baytown, and their surrounding areas. You can view our specific service area on our Locations page or contact us to confirm if we serve your location.

  • What types of vehicles do you use?

    Our fleet includes wheelchair-accessible vans and specialized vehicles equipped for ambulatory patients. All vehicles are regularly inspected, maintained, and equipped with safety features to ensure a comfortable and secure ride.

Services & Eligibility

  • Who is eligible for NEMT services?

    NEMT services are available for individuals who need transportation to and from medical appointments but do not require emergency care. This includes seniors, individuals with disabilities, Medicaid/Medicare patients, and others with mobility challenges.

  • Do you accept Medicaid and Medicare?

    Yes, Wavi NEMT works with Medicaid and Medicare to provide covered transportation services for eligible patients. If you’re unsure whether your trip is covered, contact us or your healthcare provider for more information.

  • Do you provide transportation for special needs patients?

    Yes, we offer specialized transportation services for patients with specific medical needs, including those who require extra care, use medical equipment, or need assisted boarding and exiting. Our drivers are trained to handle a wide variety of needs to ensure a smooth and safe ride.

  • Can I request the same driver for my trips?

    We understand that having the same driver can provide added comfort for regular passengers. While we cannot always guarantee the same driver, we will do our best to accommodate your preferences when possible.

Pricing & Payment

  • How much does NEMT service cost?

    Our pricing depends on the type of service and distance traveled. For Medicaid and Medicare patients, transportation may be covered in full. Private pay options are also available for those who are not covered. Contact us for a custom quote based on your specific needs.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept Medicaid and Medicare for eligible trips, as well as private payments via credit card, debit card, and certain healthcare plans. Please contact us if you have questions about billing.

  • Are there any additional fees I should know about?

    Typically, our pricing includes transportation and any necessary assistance for boarding and exiting the vehicle. However, if there are additional stops or special requests, additional charges may apply. We will inform you of any extra costs in advance.

 Logistics & Scheduling

  • How far in advance should I book my ride?

    We recommend booking your ride as soon as you know the details of your appointment to ensure availability, ideally at least 24-48 hours in advance. However, same-day bookings may be available based on our schedule.

  • What happens if my appointment runs late?

    If your appointment is delayed, don’t worry. We closely monitor schedules and will do our best to accommodate any changes in timing. Simply contact us to let us know about any delays, and we’ll adjust your ride accordingly.

  • Can I cancel or reschedule my ride?

    Yes, you can cancel or reschedule your ride by calling us at (713) 999-2229. We kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if possible to avoid any cancellation fees and to allow us to accommodate other passengers.

  • How do I track my ride?

    Once your ride is scheduled, you’ll receive real-time updates on your driver’s location and estimated arrival time. Our team is always available by phone if you have any questions or concerns.
